We are looking for a Chief Program Officer for a non-profit organization in the Columbus, OH. Our partner client has been a pillar of the Columbus community for over a century helping community members realize their potential and achieve success. The ideal candidate will have a seat at the proverbial table, be a key decision maker, is a strategic thinker, and has high EQ.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Program Directors, managers and staff across multiple different community programs.

This role will foster innovation, drive operational excellence, and cultivate partnerships that expand the organizations reach and impact.

Provide visionary, mission-driven leadership for all programmatic functions of the organization.

Lead the implementation of the organization’s strategic plan in collaboration with the CEO and executive team.

Partner with the CEO and CFO to develop, manage, and monitor program budgets.

Oversee compliance with government contracts, funder guidelines, and licensing requirements.

Serve as a strategic ambassador for the organizations mission, representing programs in public forums, with funders, and across collaborative networks.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Degree Required, Master's Degree a plus

5+ years of leadership experience - open to candidates qualified and ready to take the next step in their career.

Experience leading large teams and big initiatives - workforce development experience highly desirable.

Strategic thinker - great leadership qualities and high emotional intelligence.

Able to work autonomously with little direction and adapt to changes as needed

Operates with a high level of integrity and compassion - can not be tone deaf to the community the organization serves.
