We are a talented, hardworking group that share values and characteristics that drive client, professional, and personal success. geocgi is looking for an experienced Building Information Modeling (BIM) Engineer to support the Facilities Information Management team within NATO’s Executive Management division. Based at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, the role focuses on maintaining and optimizing the CAD and BIM As-Built documentation for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, and ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple Facility Management teams. Key Responsibilities:

Supporting drafting activities of different Facility Management teams related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing, both in the CAD and BIM environments.

Performing site surveys and ensuring all modifications are properly captured in the As-Built documentation.

Maintaining the technical documentation of the Facility Management Common Data Environment (SharePoint) up to date .

Communicating regularly with different stakeholders to follow up on project documentation status.

Creating processes to optimize the Information Management of technical documentation.

Executing different Information Management tasks on the BIM environment (Revit), aiming to digitalize the Headquarters’ Facility Management operations.

Update and maintain As-Built CAD and BIM documentation for NATO Headquarters’ MEP technical systems.

Develop and enhance MEP drawings to improve Facility Management operations.

Perform site surveys to capture modifications and ensure accurate documentation.

Manage and update technical documentation within the Facility Management Common Data Environment (SharePoint).

Create and implement processes to optimize the Information Management of technical documentation.

Utilize Revit and other BIM tools to digitalize Facility Management operations.

The following are requirements of the BIM Engineer:

U.S. Citizen.

Active U.S. Passport.

Active DoD (NATO-equivalent) Secret Clearance.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management, building services, or a related field.

At least 3 years of experience with BIM and managing documentation related to design, construction, or Facility Management.

Knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC.

Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, with advanced knowledge of MEP systems.

Strong drafting skills, excellent communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Well-organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative with a proactive approach to client service.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint.

Fluent in English; Beginner (Level I) in French.

The following are desired capabilities and experience of the BIM Engineer.

Familiarity with Building Management Systems and digitalization practices in Facility Management.

Innovative thinking and ability to develop processes for improving information management.
