Key responsibilities:
As a Front Desk Agent, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. Your main responsibilities include:
Actively welcome, greet, and check guests in with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Provide guests with knowledge about the hotel, its services, the city, and local events.
Ensure all guest requests are handled promptly, efficiently, and accurately.
Differentiate between guest types and assist them accordingly (VIP guests, groups, walk-ins, etc.).
Follow up on all arrivals, special requests, room modifications, and reservation inquiries.
Address guest complaints, accidents, and incidents within a 20-minute response time, recording all matters in the hotels system.
Maintain clear communication with the team, updating and reviewing handover books and passing on guest feedback.
Ensure guest privacy and security, adhering to confidentiality standards.
Uphold hotel policies regarding credit, payment methods, and guest accounts.
Encourage up-selling to maximize room rates.
Keep the front desk organized, ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Support night audit operations when needed.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a customer-focused, professional, and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate should have:
Strong customer service skills with a guest-first mindset.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual abilities are a plus.
Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems.
The ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset.
Availability to work 8-hour shifts (morning, evening, and night shifts available), including weekends and holidays.
