Systems Administrator (Secret Clearance)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator to join a National Security Contract located in Columbus, OH through 100% full onsite presence . The Systems Administrator will manage and maintain the IT infrastructure, configure physical and virtual systems, install backup infrastructure, and update support systems.

Responsibilities of the Systems Administrator include:

Utilize Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers and Windows servers to monitor & maintain an enterprise services environment

User support assisting with VPN connectivity, account management, and troubleshooting

System updates including patching, security, and configuration

Analyze and resolve performance issues, collaborate on technical problems, propose process improvements

Create & update documentation for common issues and processes

Provide occasional after-hours maintenance support for urgent issues Qualifications of the Systems Administrator include:

Bachelor's Degree

2+ years of experience

Experience troubleshooting with Windows OS or Linux OS

Experience performing administrative tasks & researching

Active secret clearance

Security+ CE Compensation for the Systems Administrator includes:

Salary: $60,000 depending on experience
