PROCESS TECHNICIAN II
We have an opening on our C Shift! Hours would be Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturday 6am - 6:15pm. Earn up to $35/hour with our competitive shift differential!
WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Set up molds in Injection Molding Presses equipment following established processes, documentation, tools, quality production concepts and safety procedures.
Be able to effectively operate various equipment as required.
Responsible for starting up machines to produce quality products within validated molding processes and in compliance with the Quality Management System.
Operates Injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment to manufacture products which conform to quality specifications, at the rated output.
Verify process parameters prior to start up and during normal operation to assure process is running to validated parameters
Responding to and Troubleshoots processing issues that may include the quality conformance, machine rate, up-time, maintenance requirements and machine/process safety.
Perform the required documentation following GDP and GMP compliance requirements defined within our quality management system.
Work with other molding team members to keep equipment running during breaks and callouts.
Perform thorough product inspections and make appropriate decisions relative to product quality requirements.
Communicate and partner with peers, supervisors/managers, tool room, production associates, etc.
Complete transactions and other required documentation using IQMS system.
Participate in the Comar Operational Excellence program
Work flexible shifts and overtime as needed and maintain reliable attendance.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Other duties as assigned.

Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
Wear company issued personal protective equipment (PPE) such as uniforms, gloves, hairnets.

Are You?
Someone with 2+ years of demonstrated experience in the Injection Molding industry specific to injection mold set-up and basic processing.
Self-motivated, conscientious, with a results-oriented mindset.
Proficient in basic computer use with the ability to learn and use new systems quickly and efficiently.
Experienced using an MRP / ERP system (i.e. IQMS)
Knowledge of raw materials and product quality specifications.
Proficient with controlled documents (Work Instructions, Forms, Standard Operating Procedures, Safety & Quality specifications, etc.), preventative maintenance task lists and equipment manuals which pertain to operation of equipment.
An understanding of continuous improvement, six sigma or lean manufacturing concepts.
Preferred but not required:
Medical Manufacturing experience
ISO 13485 and cleanroom experience
Vocational or trade school in related trade
Have or currently pursuing RJG certification
IQMS experience
Do You Have?
Good time management, organizational and communication skills to work independently and in a team environment.
The ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions; write simple correspondence.
Proficiency with computers – Can log in to IQMS and accurately enter production data and complete production forms (batch record).
Basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, percentages and decimals.
Ability to use measuring devices such as Comparator, Dial indicator, Go/No Go gauges.
Use Quality Control instruments such as calipers, gram scales and magna mike.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and demands.
Strong technical aptitude, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.
Sound judgment - ability to work efficiently with many competing demands.
Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Effectively communicate with supervisor.
The ability to read, write, and comprehend information provided.
