Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Lab Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic circuits and devices. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic components, circuit design, and laboratory best practices. The technician will also assist in product development, prototyping, and documentation to support engineering and research teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic circuits, PCBs, and prototype devices.
Perform diagnostic tests and failure analysis on electronic components and systems.
Use electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators.
Solder and desolder components, including surface mount and through-hole components.
Support engineers in the design, development, and improvement of electronic systems.
Maintain and calibrate lab equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Use a dynamometer for motor testing.
Document test results, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and lab protocols.
Assist in inventory management of electronic components and lab supplies.
Qualifications & Skills:

Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in an electronics lab or related environment preferred.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, datasheets, and technical manuals.
Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment and soldering techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of microcontrollers, embedded systems, or programming is a plus.
Knowledge of PLC automation and ladder logic programming is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
