WSFS Bank is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to assume responsibility of the Technology division’s Financial Planning & Analysis and Monthly Accounting support. The Senior Financial Analyst will also serve as the primary point of contact for accounts payable activities for the Technology division. The Senior Financial Analyst will also be responsible evaluating technology and vendor management proposals and contracts. Incumbent is responsible for identifying areas for process improvement and executing projects to drive efficiency, cost savings and improved service delivery.
The Senior Financial Analyst will support the Director of Finance for Technology & Operations in the preparation of management reporting, budgetary planning exercises, project business cases, expense allocations to lines of business, and special projects for several areas of the Technology & Operations organization. This position will offer a dynamic individual the opportunity to gain experience and expand the breath of responsibility for financial support for other areas of the Technology & Operations organization as well as mentor Junior Analysts in the group.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform monthly close and reporting responsibilities for Technology areas including Application Development, Data, Network & Systems, Enterprise Solution Center, Quality Engineering, Technology PMO. Responsibilities include general ledger accrual entry preparation, flash variance reporting and reconciliations.
Prepare Annual Plan and Forecasts for Technology groups
Participate in special projects and ad hoc requests including expense allocation reviews, business case preparation, Technology metrics and process improvements, R&D Tax Credit submissions and vendor contract reviews
Monitor, reconcile, and prepare for payment invoices for Technology groups including the tracking of vendor invoices, ensuring timely payment to vendor partner organizations, and resolving billing discrepancies
Act as a backup Financial Analyst and Invoice Processor for Operations groups
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related Business degree or equivalent combination of education and similar relevant experience. MBA a plus.
Minimum of 5 years directly related finance or accounting experience with progressive accounting and budgeting experience.
Prior banking or financial services industry is preferred.
Experience working in or supporting a technology division is required.
Demonstrated financial acumen and analytical experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of business impact and results.
Demonstrated experience utilizing ERP systems. Experience with Oracle and Oracle SmartView is preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of US GAAP including knowledge of capitalization rules
Must have the ability to successfully work under the pressure of strict deadlines
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Thrives in dynamic, energetic, and driven environments
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
Ability to work overtime during peak reporting periods
