POSITION SUMMARY

The success of Norma Precision relies heavily on our Compliance Coordinator. This role is pivotal in overseeing and maintaining a comprehensive management program, including methods to track compliance with policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate import/export shipments with customs brokers and freight forwarders.

File all needed paperwork with appropriate government entities

Apply for export permits

Communicate with international sites and customers for coordination of exports.

Assist in coordinating incoming containers and ensure smooth logistics

Work with customs brokers to clear products efficiently

Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications / Requirements

Knowledge of firearms and ammunition.

Familiarity with exporting guidelines, particularly for ammunition

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel

Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, BIS and ATF

Willingness to learn hazmat compliance to become an in-house expert for import/export.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Standard office environment in a temperature controlled office, with normal air contaminants, such as dust, typically found in an office.

Moderate noise level, including sounds from normal office equipment (computers, telephones, etc.).

Position requires occasional, prolonged periods of standing and walking distances inside the plant. May involve standing, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
