Job Description

Job Duties / Responsibilities:
Testing and adjustment of air/hydronic systems utilizing specialized company-provided equipment.
Investigate systems and operational deficiencies to determine corrective actions.
Read and interpret project mechanical drawings, specifications, and equipment performance data to determine proper balancing techniques.
Document activities with TAB reports, assessments, and other specific deliverables including system pre-demo TAB audits (design vs as-found conditions), ventilation and pressurization assessments, temperature and humidity assessments, duct leakage assessments, new construction, system troubleshooting reports, system performance verification reports, seasonal testing reports, deficiency reports, design review reports, pre-field engineering reports, and design/construction deficiency reports.
Responsible for proper care/maintenance of company-provided tools, vehicles, and test instruments.
Accurate and repeatable test data.
Actively participate in the company's training program.
Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent. Bachelors Degree, Associates Degree, or technical certification in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commercial HVAC testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) operations.
TAB Certification from a recognized organization (AABC, NEBB, TABB, NCI) preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Driver’s license with clean driving record.
Experience with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
Experience with PDF software
Willingness to relocate to the DMV area
