Description

Saar's Super Saver Foods is seeking a Deli Department Manager. Saar’s is looking for an energetic and efficient department manager who understands how to manage a fast pace and diverse deli department. Our deli departments carry a diverse assortment of meats, cheeses, desserts, and prepared foods which include both Hispanic and Eastern European deli items. We also maintain a high volume hot case in our deli departments as well.

Duties:

· Maintain deli department condition standards

· Direct deli clerks through daily tasks

· Write an effective schedule

· Effectively order deli products for your department

· Verify and log deli invoices

· Maintain accurate pricing in the deli department

· Effectively train new deli clerks

· Manage the production and quality of hot case items

· Manage the production and display of our fresh baked French bread program

Qualifications

· High School Diploma/GED Required

· Detail oriented and task driven

· Computer skills Required

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent customer service skills

· Previous Deli Manager or Food Service Experience RequiredCompany Description
