UX Designer II

Torrance, Ca (Hybrid)

6-month W2 contract to direct hire

A Major Automotive Company is looking for a UX Designer for their Torrance, CA office. This role is contract to hire and comes with benefits through the contract period.

DUTIES

· Support UX design efforts on mid-sized projects, ensuring consistency and usability across platforms.

· Design and iterate on wireframes, prototypes, and interaction flows to communicate design intent.

· Partner with UX researchers to analyze user data and translate findings into actionable design improvements.

· Conduct experience audits, competitive/comparative analysis and confirm design proposals are meeting market expectations.

· Develop and refine information architecture and user flows.

· Participate in and occasionally lead design critiques and stakeholder reviews.

· Advocate for best practices in usability, accessibility, and interaction design.

· Work closely with product teams and developers to understand product goals, requirements, constraints and ensure design implementation fidelity.

· Support UX strategy development and contribute to design system evolution.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

§ Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field OR equivalent experience.

§ Minimum Experience:

§ 7 years of experience in UX design.

Other Job-Specific Skills:

· Proficiency in Figma.

· Experience working within an Agile development process.

· Strong ability to balance user needs with business objectives.

· Excellent presentation and stakeholder communication skills.

· Understanding of accessibility and usability principles.Company Description
