About the job
The Technician conducts complex destructive and non-destructive testing in accordance with written procedures such as Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) or Qualification Test Procedures (QTPs). This position also requires the ability to interpret dimensional drawings and perform test setups.
Responsible for design verification and acceptance testing of pyrotechnic and electronic products following established methods, procedures, standards and sequences to confirm compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
Must be familiar with test equipment (i.e.: oscilloscopes, multimeters, environmental chambers).
Maintain records on work performed, analyzes data collected, and report results
Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001 or ISO 17025
Reviews system-level Acceptance Test Procedures for electrical devices.
Troubleshooting, calibration and adjustments to test equipment, components, and systems.
Correct malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components
Use small hand and power tools along with various measuring and testing devices.
Perform appropriate duties associated with specialized IT project-based activities.
Participate in process improvement meetings and team 5S activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
2 years of testing and/or mechanical inspection.
Knowledge in the use of basic electronic test equipment (volt meters, current meters, O-scopes).
Basic mechanical measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) and hand tools.
Familiarity with MS office products.

Education And Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
AS in related field and/or military experience preferred.
Working Conditions
Test lab conditions (wearing PPE where required)
Standing 8-10 hours per day
Capable of lifting 50 pounds
