Responsibilities:

- Lead Bakery Production: Take charge of daily bakery operations, ensuring meticulous adherence to recipes, quality standards, and Health Department guidelines.

- Staff Development: Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring a team of passionate bakers and ice cream shop staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

- Monitor food costs, labor costs, and operational expenses, implementing cost-saving initiatives while maintaining top-notch quality.

- Inventory Management: Manage all aspects of inventory, from placing orders to receiving deliveries, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.

- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a pristine and organized bakery environment, overseeing equipment upkeep and ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.

- Menu Development: Collaborate with leadership to set seasonal menu direction, create enticing specials, and develop strategies to enhance sales and profitability.

- Community Engagement: Serve as a brand ambassador, cultivating strong relationships with customers, vendors, and the local community to drive business growth and enhance brand reputation.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

- Artisan Baking Expertise: Mastery of artisan baking techniques, including yeast breads, quick breads, sourdough starters, laminated doughs, and classic pastries, ensuring the highest quality products.

- Leadership Excellence: Proven track record of inspiring and empowering teams to achieve exceptional results, with a focus on coaching, mentorship, and team development.

- Operational Proficiency: Adept at coordinating complex operations, from inventory management to facility maintenance, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
