The Warehouse Assistant supports daily warehouse operations by managing incoming and outgoing deliveries, preparing and packaging equipment for shipment, and cleaning equipment for resale. This role is also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, tracking consumable materials, assisting with equipment testing and load banking, and ensuring proper storage and labeling of all items. The position reports directly to the Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator.
Manage and report inventory to Warehouse Coordinator
Manage incoming and outgoing shipments
Manage and implement organization and cleanliness of warehouse
Manage recycling of materials coming in and out of warehouse
Account for all tools organized, labeled, and properly stored
Manage equipment maintenance, ieforklifts, dock levelers, generator .Complete weekly checklists of equipment
Assist QA/QC Technician with equipment testing interface with Service / Operations and Project Managers to accomplish customer requirements and meeting deadlines
Manage facility PM needs with Warehouse Coordinator scheduling of HVAC PMs, annual parking lot cleaning, Generator PM, septic PM scheduling and other building PM needs
Support Service Advisors / Project Managers with all logistical needs for battery jobs, equipment replacements, and equipment relocations
Assist QA/QC Technician with equipment testing
Follow all electrical safety practices to ensure a successful completion of each test
Assist with prepping units to be tested placement, connection, and proper documentation during the testing phase
Assist Technician with disconnection of tested units
Properly clean all tested units
Prep for shipment of tested units
Perform as a team player with other warehouse personnel assist others between tasks
Assist with cleaning equipment
Assist with battery installations into battery cabinets
Loading and unloading of trucks
Operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies
Safe operation of forklifts heavy equipment
Safe operation of pallet jacks moving and placing equipment for testing and shipping purposes
Preferred experience:
High School diploma or equivalent

Warehouse experience
