Land Rover Hartford is seeking a qualified, energetic individual for a Customer Service position in our Business Development Center (BDC) - Internet Sales Department. Candidates must possess effective communication skills, have a strong customer service and/or sales background, and excellent organizational / computer skills. Position includes Internet lead management, inbound and outbound calls, and appointment booking and confirmation. Previous experience in a call center and/or automotive franchise is beneficial but not required.
Strong communication skills (phone and email) and basic computer and organizational skills are required. Having excellent internet/computer skills is imperative to the success of this position. You should be comfortable talking to customers on the phone and email with the end goal of provide a truly exception customer based experience!
Responsibilities:
• Address customer inquiries on new and used Inventory.
• Use Customer Relationship Management software (CRM) to develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Use all available communication channels to book sales appointments.
• Maintain professional appearance and representation of the organization.
• Assist with reception routing of inbound calls to the dealership during high call volume times.

• Must have positive outgoing personality and an eagerness to advocate our products and services.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to work independently on daily tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to collaborate with management to regularly assess and improve processes.
• Availability for full time including Saturdays.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
Job type: Full-time. Hourly wage plus commission.
Required education: High school diploma or equivalent.
