Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Payroll Administrator located in Jamaica, NY. The Payroll Administrator will manage day-to-day payroll operations, including processing payroll, handling garnishments, managing payroll taxes, and administering employee benefits. This role will also involve coordinating with the accounting department to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
Work Schedule:Mon- Fri 9am - 5pm

JOB DUTIES and FUNCTIONS:
Payroll Processing
Review timecards prior to processing.
Manual Adjustments.
Payroll Reports. Garnishments and loans. Payroll check distribution.
New Hire Onboarding Confirmation of demographics, titles, departments and Tax Status.
Review and reconcile bills for payment
Financial Employment verifications
Process Accrued Time / Random Audits
Process Union enrollment forms
Provides excellent customer service by promptly responding to employee requests and questions, both in person and over the phone.
Updates HR database with employee change requests and processes paperwork.
Reconciles benefits and union billing.
Performs clerical functions.
Assists with various research and special projects as assigned.
