Job Title: CNC Milling Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to set up and operate Makino and various CNC machines. The role requires reading blueprints, performing tool changes and offsets, and utilizing precision measuring equipment to ensure high-quality production. The number of setups will vary from one to three per day, depending on the length of production.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate Makino and CNC machines efficiently.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine setups.
Perform tool changes and offsets as required.
Utilize precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
Conduct quality inspections with tight tolerances of +/- 0.5.
Perform preventative maintenance on the machines.Essential Skills
1-3 years of CNC lathe or mill operating experience.
Experience in changing tooling and fixtures.
Blueprint reading proficiency.
Ability to read micrometers, calipers, and other measuring equipment.Additional Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of CNC lathe or mill operating experience for OP2 Tier.
5+ years of CNC lathe setup experience for advanced tiers.
Advanced blueprint reading skills and inspection experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Join a dynamic CNC machine shop operating 26 machines, including mills and lathes. Work in a clean, well-organized environment with approximately 50 employees. Enjoy 10-hour shifts, with 2nd shift running from 3:30 PM to 2 AM. Optional overtime is available on Fridays, with no limit on consecutive workdays. Opportunities for advancement exist, reporting to a cell lead.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40352.00 - $65000.00/yr.
