Job Description
ROLE AND PURPOSE: Perform various instructional materials warehouse duties including, but not limited to: driving trucks, making deliveries, filling orders, loading/unloading trucks, and taking inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education/Certification:
HS diploma or equivalent
Valid Texas drivers' license with a satisfactory driving record
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Proficiency in all general office skills
Computer skills to include knowledge of office software
Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure of deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills
Able to operate warehouse equipment, including but not limited to fork lift, pallet jacks and picker.
Able to drive a large box truck
Must be physically able to lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance
Must be willing to work overtime as needed
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Supports the instructional material inventory program for the district, including entering requisitions, pick tickets, inventories, transfers, filing and responding to campus requests;
Supports the Instructional Material warehouse in receiving and shipping of materials from and to vendors and the campuses;
Assists Instructional Materials Employees in delivery and pickup of instructional materials from locations in the district;
Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Coordinator of Instructional Materials and the Director of Information and Instructional Systems.
