Supervisor: Janesville, Wisconsin

Our customer in Janesville, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Supervisors to work full-time on 2nd shift. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for enforcing safety, overseeing production teams, ensuring quality standards, managing training, and maintaining production efficiency.

Responsibilities of the Supervisor:

Enforce safety and sanitation regulations across the production floor to ensure a safe working environment.

Assist and provide backup to Material Handlers and Machine Operators when necessary.

Develop and conduct new hire training programs, ensuring all employees are properly trained.

Coordinate the activities of employees in production roles, including inspectors, machine setters, and fabricators.

Fill in as a line operator to maintain production flow and fill vacancies when required.

Monitor and assess line efficiency, making adjustments as needed to meet production standards.

Collaborate with the 1st Shift Production Supervisor to ensure proper work schedules and sequencing.

Maintain and manage records related to production time, costs, and efficiency.

Support continuous improvement efforts and resolve any production issues that arise.

Ensure that all manufactured products meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Supervisor Requirements and Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.

A minimum of three years of related production or supervisory experience.

Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams.

Ability to develop and implement effective training programs for new hires and current employees.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions to resolve production issues.

Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to enforce them within the production environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Global Shop Software.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate production records.

Pay for Supervisor: Starting at $21-25/hour.
