Mechanical Engineer - HVAC

Job Description

We have been retained by our client, an established Industrial Engineering firm in Houston, TX, to find a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in HVAC design and systems. This role involves working on industrial and commercial projects, providing design, analysis, and technical support to deliver high-performing, energy-efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and develop HVAC systems for industrial and commercial facilities.

Prepare construction documents, specifications, and equipment schedules.

Conduct load calculations and energy modeling for system efficiency.

Collaborate with internal engineering teams, project managers, and clients.

Provide field support, site visits, and coordination during construction phases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

3+ years of HVAC design experience, preferably within industrial or commercial environments.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and HVAC design software (e.g., Trane TRACE, Revit, etc.).

Strong understanding of mechanical codes, standards, and energy efficiency principles.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
