Job Description
As an assembler, you will be responsible for executing complex assembly tasks, including those that require advanced mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies. You will read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and specifications to ensure the correct assembly of components, and perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve issues in assembly processes and product functionality.
Responsibilities
Ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory compliance standards by the team.
Continuously review and recommend improvements to assembly processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other departments to resolve design or manufacturing issues.
Perform final quality inspections and testing to ensure that the assembled products meet company standards and specifications.
Maintain inventory of parts and materials required for assembly, ensuring stock is kept at optimal levels.
Assist with the setup, calibration, and operation of automated or semi-automated equipment used in the assembly process.
Follow lean manufacturing guidelines and provide continuous improvement suggestions for gained efficiency.
Essential Skills
3–5 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing roles, with experience in leadership or team supervision.
Expertise in reading and interpreting complex technical documents, including engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to train and mentor junior team members and contribute to team development.
Strong knowledge of quality control processes and manufacturing best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines without compromising quality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working on an assembly line.
Mechanical assembly of small and large parts.
Proficiency in using hand tools and schematics to assemble parts with a low rate of error.
Experience with power tools.
General production knowledge.

Work Environment
The work environment requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. You should be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch, as required. Climbing a portable ladder may be necessary. The use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required, and good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination are essential.
