Job Title: Financial Administration Intermediate Analyst / "SEC" Reporting

Job Summary
We are seeking a Financial Administration Intermediate Analyst to join our team in a hybrid role based in Columbus, Ohio. Under general supervision, the Intermediate Analyst will manage budgets, process fund expenses, and support financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and SEC regulations. The ideal candidate will bring analytical expertise, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within the financial services or investment company industry.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze, monitor, and implement budgets for clients
Review and update vendor information and payment instructions
Perform initial reviews of monthly and annual excise distributions and total return calculations
Prepare quarterly Board reports and assist in year-end tax reporting
Support the preparation and review of financial statements and SEC filings (e.g., N-CSR, N-CEN, N-1A, 24F-2)
Demonstrate intermediate understanding of investment types, mutual funds, ETFs, and financial markets
Respond to internal and external client inquiries with professionalism and accuracy
Host training sessions, prepare training materials, and maintain procedural documentation
Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience in accounting/reporting for registered investment companies or the financial services industry
Technical Skills:
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong technical writing and communication skills
Familiarity with GAAP and SEC reporting standards
