Job Title: Inbound Stocker 2nd Shift
Job Description
The primary responsibility is to support the distribution center by efficiently replenishing primary picking locations.
Responsibilities
Transfer merchandise using a stand-up reach truck, sit-down forklift, stock picker, and/or pallet jack from staging area to primary pick locations and back to stock locations.
Operate a handheld scanner.
Understand receiving labels on inbound merchandise to identify and place it into assigned locations.
Identify merchandise and maintain primary pick locations.
Accurately identify units of measure for proper placement of merchandise.
Communicate with co-workers regarding any identified location stocking errors.
Meet quality and productivity standards.
Follow directions from the Supervisor.
Maintain excellent attendance and reliable predictability.
Adhere to distribution center housekeeping guidelines.Essential Skills

Accurate record-keeping and problem-solving skills

Work Environment
The work environment includes operating various equipment such as reach trucks and forklifts. Shift work is required, with the potential for overtime. The dress code is conducive to a safe and efficient operation in a fast-paced distribution center.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rome, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
