Job Description

Job Title: Upfitting Mechanic$32/hr Depending on Experience

Responsibilities

Lead installation of new equipment on vocational, refuse, and service trucks

Perform preventive maintenance on lift kits, snow plows, trucks, and roll-off dumpsters

Work extensively with hydraulics for snow plows and roll-off dumpsters

Wire trucks and run controls into cabs

Conduct body swaps and wheelbase adjustments

Perform custom fabrication and welding

Carry out electrical work up to 12 voltsEssential Skills

2-5 years' experience as a mechanic on larger equipment/trucks

Experience in hydraulic repair and maintenance

Ability to troubleshoot and repair brakes, diesel engines, and electrical systems

Proficiency in welding and custom fabrication

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $66560.00/yr.
