The Controls and Avionics Solutions (CAS) Hardware Engineering Organization is seeking an accomplished Electrical Engineer to join our Rapid Prototype Development Team. This is a strategic opportunity for a high-caliber engineer to contribute to the design, integration, and demonstration of next-generation technologies in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

This role requires deep technical insight, systems-level thinking, and hands-on engineering excellence. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of prototype hardware, encompassing digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuit design. Key responsibilities include:
Architecture definition and schematic capture
Circuit card assembly (CCA) design and analysis
Embedded firmware and software development
Interface and cable harness design
Component selection and integration
Hands-on laboratory testing, validation, and troubleshootingOperating under the guidance of technical leads and in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will influence design decisions, mentor junior engineers, and help drive technical strategy.
We are seeking candidates with a strong command of modern design and analysis tools, proficiency with advanced lab instrumentation, and a passion for innovative engineering. Experience with rapid prototyping, hardware-software integration, and defense or aerospace systems is highly desirable.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
4+ years of electrical-related experience is required
Solid engineering fundamentals
Familiarity with electrical engineering design & analysis tools
Software programming experience
Proficiency with basic laboratory equipment
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Hands-on experience of designing and testing electronic systems
Project leadership Experience
