About the Role
Cast & Crew is seeking a UI/UX Design Intern to join our User Experience team and help design intuitive, elegant, and user-centered digital products. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate design student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience working on real projects in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
As a UI/UX Intern, you’ll work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to explore problems, validate ideas, and craft experiences that delight users across our entertainment and production technology platforms.
What You’ll Do
Contribute to the design of web and mobile interfaces using tools like Figma
Assist in creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to support product features and enhancements
Participate in user research, usability testing, and accessibility reviews
Help maintain and expand our design system and ensure visual consistency
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and research teams
Attend and contribute to design critiques, sprint planning, and brainstorming sessions
Document design decisions and present work to stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in UI/UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Design, or a related field
Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or other design/prototyping tools
Basic understanding of design principles, user-centered design, and responsive web design
Strong visual design and typography skills
Ability to receive and apply feedback constructively
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passion for solving real user problems through great design
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Material UI, Untitled UI, or other design systems
Exposure to HTML/CSS or working with frontend developers
Portfolio showcasing relevant design work (student or personal projects welcome)
Interest in designing for enterprise or SaaS products
Awareness of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)

Special Work Conditions
Sedentary – Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Some positions may entail exerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, or pull.

Compensation is commensurate with various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, training, licensure, certifications, geographic cost of labor, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation range for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. The compensation range for this position is: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour.
