JOB TITLE: Software Engineer – GNAT, GDB, and Linux

REMOTE WORK OPTIONS AVAILABLE!

ABOUT THE JOB:

We are seeking multiple software engineers with GNAT, GDB, and Linux experience to help troubleshoot integration issues for an avionics flight software product.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Experience in one or more of the following categories:

GNAT Compiler:

Proficiency in using the GNAT compiler for Ada programming

Experience with GNAT project files and build processes

Knowledge of Ada language standards and best practices

Understanding of compiler optimization techniques and flags

GDB Debugger:

Strong understanding of GDB commands and features

Experience in debugging complex applications using GDB

Ability to write and use GDB scripts for automation

Linux Proficiency:

In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian)

Experience with shell scripting and command-line tools

Familiarity with Linux system administration and troubleshooting

Programming Languages and OS:

Proficiency in Ada programming

Knowledge of other languages like C/C++ is beneficial

Understanding of real-time operating system concepts (e.g., task scheduling, interrupt handling), specifically Deos and HeartOS

Self-motivated and takes the initiative to get things done

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Accountable and takes ownership of assigned tasks

Team-driven mentality
