GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Canes Midstream is a private equity backed midstream oil and gas company with assets in the prolific Permian Basin. Canes Midstream operates the largest private greenfield gathering and processing system in the Southern Midland Basin. The Company is experiencing significant growth and seeking a Field Office Admin. The Field Office Admin is responsible for supporting all field employees of the company in all aspects of administrative duties as well as general office manager tasks. This position must continually strive to maintain the highest standards for excellence, leadership, and professionalism, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of Canes Midstream.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for front office operations including answering incoming calls and handling or redirecting as appropriate; meeting and greeting guests.
File and retrieve corporate documents, records, reports, and all project files.
Classify, maintain, and protect files, documentation, and sensitive information consistent with record handling.
Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries.
Utilize MS Office programs to produce documents, presentations, and data sheets.
Coordinate onsite and offsite conferences and meetings as needed.
Ensure the operation of office equipment by completing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs and maintaining equipment inventories.
Maintain inventory and manage the purchase of office supplies and corporate gifts.
Route invoices for coding and approval. Act as a liaison with the accounting department to make sure all invoices are paid in a timely manner.
Work independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
Assist with project cost analysis.
Process employee expense reports.
Sort and distribute incoming correspondence and mail; manage FedEx and other special mailings.
Adhere to Canes Policies and Procedures as well as applicable industry standards and practices.
Perform any other related duties as requested or assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrate the ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and exercise independent and sound judgment
Be a self-starter that requires minimal supervision with the ability to handle duties which are diverse in scope and complexity
Actively promote and personally observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
5+ years of experience managing administrative functions
Prior oil & gas industry experience preferred
Experience in procurement function is a plus
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
Must have knowledge of various types of office equipment and their operation
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and maintain insurability with corporate insurance company.
