The City of Branson Information Department is looking for an experienced Office Specialist!
If you are accurate, efficient, and thrive in a fast-paced office environment, we want to hear from you.
This role requires strong collaboration skills and proven expertise in Microsoft Excel and Word
to help keep one of our busiest offices running smoothly.
What You'll Do
Provide accurate and efficient clerical support forthe Information Technology Department.
Tackle a mix of routine tasks and track dynamic projects in a fast-paced office environment.
Manage high level reports with confidence using Microsoft Office Suite (or Google Sheets/Docs).
Ensure timely communication and documentation to keep operations running smoothly.
What are the Minimum Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Three (3) or more years of clerical experience in a professional office setting.
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business, or closely related field from a college, technical school, or university regionally accredited or two (2) additional years of directly related professional experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or Google Sheets/Docs) is a mustsomeone who's comfortable with data and detail.
At least 18, have a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Someone who brings integrity, initiative, and a strong work ethicplus the ability to work independently.
Great communication, strong organization, sound judgment, and a commitment to excellent customer service are key.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The starting hourly wage is $20.66 per hour and will increase to $21.48 per hour after 6 months of successful probation.

WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
WORK LOCATION: City of Branson, Missouri; City Hall. This is an in office position requiring work to be performed onsite.
