DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

The ideal candidate will support the highly automated Cold Rolling Mill by analyzing reasons for production disturbances in cooperation with other maintenance and production personnel, troubleshooting of process automation and communication systems issues, as well as researching, developing, and coordinating work orders through completion to meet the business goals of AM/NS Calvert.

The Basics:

High School diploma or GED

Must be willing ot obtain ISO Category II Vibration Analyst Certification from an Accredited Certification Provider

Minimum of 2 years vibration discipline experience in solving machine problems using vibration analysis

Familiar with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)

Knowledge in the following:

Infared technology

Vibration analysis

Oil analysis

Ultrasound

Rotating equipment alignments

Bearings and common failure modes

The Extras:

Cold Rolling Mill experience preferred

Experience with Emerson/CSI Hardware and Software

Predictive maintenance experience (Infrared, Ultrasound, Oil, etc.)

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred

Knowledge of how to navigate SAP

Demonstrated knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Practices

Good understanding of process automation applications in a manufacturing environment

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Vibration data collection and analysis

Provide support in maintaining the vibration databases

Solve equipment problems by evaluating vibration patterns, incorporating other process information such as pressures, temperatures, flows, sound, etc.

Work with plant personnel to support their development of equipment maintenance strategies related to vibration analysis monitoring

Isolate and identify failure modes in industrial equipment

Create analytical summary reports based on predictive analysis

Participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFAs) on lengthy delays within a team environment and execute Corrective Actions (CAs) to mitigate future occurrences

Continuous improvement projects to increase quality and efficiency of the PDM program and associated field devices

Continuous optimization of online vibration monitoring systems

Continuous improvement of the equipment reliability by developing, reviewing, and updating PM’s based on data analysis and predictions

Conducting maintenance activities utilizing SAP software (Notifications, Work orders, Purchase Requisitions, Spare Parts, Service Entries, etc.)

Train, coach and mentor maintenance technicians and operations team members

Office and Industrial setting

Gulf coast region in Calvert, AL

Days, Monday to Friday with extended hours as required due to periods of peak workloads
