Must have an Active DoD Clearance

Experience as a Database Administrator in a DoD Environment

This is supporting an upcoming need that will begin fall 2025

Primary Functions:

Provide technical assessments for major project planning.

Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.

Coordinate changes to computer databases.

Identify, investigate, and resolve database performance issues, database capacity, and database scalability.

Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.

Education/Experience/Skills:

U.S. Citizenship and Active DoD SECRET Clearance required.

Bachelor's degree in quantitative field

SUBSITUTION: Associate degree plus two years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

3+ years of professional experience with Database Administrator within a DoD/Federal environment.

Must have experience supporting a legacy system cloud migration utilizing SQL Reporting.

Experience supporting USN/DoD is preferred.

Preferred- Experience with All Weapons Information Systems (USN).
