IT Business Analyst

We’re looking for someone like you to propel business analytics and processes forward, as well as delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.
Partnering with your team of architects, developers, testers, business analysts, DevSecOps engineers, data scientists, and AI and ML engineers, you’ll identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you’ll lead your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you’ll deliver high business value products to our DoD clients.

You Have:
5+ years of experience as an IT business analyst
Experience in conducting needs analysis and designing, implementing, coordinating, assessing, and improving IT and cybersecurity business processes and procedures
Experience with developing, testing, validating, and documenting workflows, procedures, and processes
Experience with evaluating the effectiveness of IT business processes, addressing workflows and information security requirements, and recommending improvements
Experience with reviewing or conducting audits of IT programs and projects
Ability to develop methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts
Ability to evaluate and provide input to implementation plans and standard operating procedures
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Knowledge of risk management processes
Knowledge of sustainment technologies, processes, and strategies
Knowledge of IT acquisition and procurement requirements
Ability to research and resolve the root causes of problems and recommend changes to processes and procedures
Ability to gather feedback on customer satisfaction and internal service performance to foster continual improvement
Ability to provide ongoing optimization and problem-solving support
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
