SUMMARY

Arcticom, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Senior Java Developer for Remote position on FMO Support. Arcticom, LLC a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation, is currently seeking a qualified Java Developer for the Beavercreek OH area. The Senior Java Developer will work as part of a product team delivering product support and supply chain solutions on a One Network platform instance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.

Design, develop, refactor, test and maintain new features and improve existing code base using Java/J2EE, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, Ext JS, JUnit, Java GUI Libraries (SWT, AWT) and Eclipse.

Work with UI technologies.

Implement J2EE concepts (RESTful Web services and MVC pattern) using ONE Platform SDK

Develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures using Oracle SQL Developer.

Debug JIRA issues, update and manage requirement documents using SVN version control tool.

Work with integration frameworks including EDI, JSON, XML, REST, SOAP etc.

Merge code between different branches and manage revisions using Perforce(P4V).

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications

Two (2) years of developing applications using Java

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or related experience

Mus be Security+ certified

Hold or be able to acquire a Federal government background check, requires U.S. citizenship

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

Expert level in Java programming

Experience in Computer architecture

Ability to communicate effectively with a product team

Able to work with minimal supervision

Preferred

Experience with Agile product management

NECESSARY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; most of time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about.

DOT COVERED/SAFETY-SENSITIVE ROLE REQUIREMENTS

· This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety-sensitive” functions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily in a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

· No supervisory responsibilities.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
