Job Description
The Fulfillment Supervisor plays a crucial role as part of the front-line team, working towards the company's vision of meeting customer needs in a High-Performance Work System environment. Under the guidance of the Warehouse & Fulfillment Manager, the Fulfillment Supervisor leads the team in a manner aligned with the company's service and cost objectives. This position entails overseeing the day-to-day operations of order picking, packing, and preparing Distributor and customer orders for shipment, as well as maintaining records of order progress.
Shift A: Wednesday & Thursday (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM), Friday & Saturday (6:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
Shift B: Sunday & Monday (6:00 AM to 5:30 PM), Tuesday & Wednesday (7:00 AM to 4:30 PM)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures work areas are clean and free from safety hazards.
Determines most efficient way to fulfill product orders and formulates plan to maximize efficiency and maintain quality. Communicates plan to fulfillment staff to carry out.
Communicate daily operational activities with your team.
Oversee international order fulfillment, ensuring all shipments are accurately documented and comply with global shipping regulations.
Prepare customs invoices and other export documentation to facilitate timely delivery and customs clearance.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance and safety standards for all departments on the production floor.
Supervise the execution of assigned department tasks and plan production/staffing needs on a daily, weekly, and quarterly basis.
Foster clear and professional communication among team members.
Oversee the creation, execution, and maintenance of training manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all operations functions.
Ensure teams consistently meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), providing support and guidance in adherence to processes and procedures.
Foster a team-oriented environment, promoting teamwork at all times.
Effectively communicate upwards, downwards, and across the organization.
Act as a problem solver to defuse workplace conflicts, maintaining a calm and motivating influence on peers and employees.
Participate in the Safety Committee, actively supporting the leadership vision throughout the organization.
Collaborate with Team Leads to motivate and instill the company vision in all associates.
Continuously seek new efficiencies across all areas of the business.
Support the development of staff under your leadership.
Engage in personal development to positively influence all employees; conducts performance reviews and recommends merit increases.
Other duties as requested by business need.
Flexible and willing to alter work schedule as requested to meet department demands to include overtime, weekend or daily adjustments to schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION:
Demonstrated experience with international shipping procedures, including preparing and processing customs documentation and commercial invoices.
Familiarity with country-specific import/export regulations and ensuring compliance with customs requirements.
Ability to troubleshoot cross-border shipping delays and coordinate with carriers, as needed.
Bachelor's degree in business management or related field is a plus.
Bilingual fluency in Spanish is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing/warehouse experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience leading teams and/or direct reports.
Experience with safety standards and best practices.
Experience working in a team-based environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively interact with all levels within the facility and organization.
Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a basic knowledge of decision-making processes.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience with an ERP/WMAS system is a plus (Microsoft Dynamics)
Flexibility to work across all shifts to meet business needs.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
Consistent, regular and reliable attendance is expected.
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED FOR POSITION:
Ability to operate a forklift truck and previous experience with order picking and/or general warehouse procedures is preferred.
Previous supervisory experience in a production and/or warehouse environment.
Excellent time management, attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills.
Strong listening, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Working knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) required.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and apply those skills to calculate discounts, sales tax, proportions, percentages, and reductions.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including coaching, team-building, and training abilities.
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES REQUIRED FOR ROLE:
State issued driver license

The employee must occasionally lift, move (in some cases drag items), slide, raise and/or place:
Pallets from floor onto side, move up to 10 feet and return to original position at a weight up to 35 lbs.
Cartons onto a cart to move materials within the fulfillment areas.
The employee must frequently lift, move (in some cases drag items), slide, raise and/or place:
Boxes weighing up to 25 lbs. from 5 inches off the ground up to 36 inches high and return to original position.
