Ontic is a leading global aerospace OEM trusted by the world’s aviation leaders. Ontic’s Chatsworth, CA, site specializes in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence. With over 1,400 employees across four time zones and seven sites, we have more than doubled in size since 2019 and are continuing to grow at pace.

Our team is looking for a Director of Continuous Improvement to join them. You will report to the Site Director and will have an onsite work structure in Chatsworth, CA.

To be considered for the Director of Continuous Improvement opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline

5+ years of experience developing, organizing, implementing and managing projects

Experience driving change management initiatives

Demonstrated experience selecting and working with CI tools including: Value Stream Mapping, Lean Six Sigma, Validation as well as other problem solving skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, database experience preferred

Engineering or manufacturing experience preferred

Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the company

Self-motivated, highly organized, with a demonstrated ability to balance multiple projects concurrently

As a Director of Continuous Improvement, you will:

Lead and implement approved continuous improvement efforts identified by the specific site, global team, or the CI team

Manage the implementation of Continuous Improvement methods such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Problem Solving and Value Stream Analysis to improve productivity

Set the company operational strategy and sit on the Senior Management Team (SMT)

Salary Range (if not already included in the Compensation Pay Range section of the requisition):

$165,000- $185,000/year, based on experience
