Job Summary:
The Talent Sourcer is responsible for identifying, engaging, and screening talent to build and maintain a candidate pipeline for current and future job openings. This role requires sourcing using various methods to find both active and passive candidates. The Talent Sourcer collaborates with recruiters and hiring managers to understand job requirements and ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates. The Talent Sourcer should be adept in research, networking, and leveraging innovative sourcing techniques to support talent acquisition efforts.
Essential Responsibilities/Duties:
Identify and engage top talent through various sourcing methods, including social media, job boards, networking, and database searches.
Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand job requirements and create targeted sourcing strategies.
Build and maintain a pipeline of passive candidates for current and future job openings.
Screen resumes, conduct initial outreach, assess candidates' qualifications, and confirm interest level before passing them to recruiters.
Develop and maintain relationships with potential candidates for future recruitment needs.
Track and report on sourcing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and sourcing tools to continuously improve sourcing techniques.
Utilize advanced search techniques to uncover hard-to-find talent across multiple platforms.
Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and other recruitment activities as needed.
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the sourcing process, from initial contact to offer.
Qualifications:
Education –
Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
Competencies/Skills –
Ability to evaluate candidates and build relationships.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of hiring requirements, and best practices
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure recruitment processes comply with employment laws and company policies.
Excellent phone etiquette
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience –
2+ years prior experience in a talent acquisition role
Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed resume database preferred
Experience in Healthcare or related industry preferred
