Duration: 12 months (Potential to convert to FTE at end of assignment)

Job Description

We are now seeking a Fab Operator to join the team. As a Fab Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing of electronic components to given schedule using a range of equipment and processes with a cleanroom environment.

This position is shift-based with multiple positions across 1st or 2nd shift, Monday through Friday.

1st Shift hours: 6:00AM – 2:30PM. 2nd shift hours: 2:00PM – 10:30PM (preferred)

Responsibilities:

● Processing of material to the required quality standards and standard operating procedures.

● Preparation of materials and tooling to applied standards.

● Undertake periodic quality checks on equipment and processes, as specified.

● Gathering and recording of data.

● Carry out visual inspection of product according to the device specific criteria.

● Identify non-compliant material or abnormal events, taking appropriate action as detailed in applied specifications.

● Contribute improvement activities and participate within working groups.

● Achieve production targets by undertaking tasks according to specified plan and priorities using local decision making to account for material and equipment availability.

● Interface with maintenance and engineering staff regularly throughout a shift.

● Comply with Environmental Health and Safety regulations within the working environment.

Required Skills

● Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, wearing the necessary cleanroom attire.

● Ability to work strictly to quality standards and specifications.

● Excellent manual dexterity, working with small parts.

● Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

● Good written and verbal communication abilities.

● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

● Proficient computer skills, including Google Docs and Google Sheets, and standard data entry systems.

● Able to work occasional overtime, as needed.

Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Good to have: Would prefer previous semiconductor fabrication experience
