The IT Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of IT initiatives by collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams. This role combines project coordination with Scrum Master responsibilities to ensure clear communication, alignment on goals and timelines, and the timely resolution of cross-team dependencies and blockers. The IT Project Coordinator be instrumental in keeping teams organized, focused, and on track to deliver high-quality technology solutions that align with business objectives.
IT Project Coordinator Typical Duties: Typical duties may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Lead Scrum of Scrums ceremonies to foster collaboration across agile teams.
Assist Project Managers and Scrum Masters with sprint planning, JIRA alignment, user story tracking, and backlog management.
Support technical teams with process documentation, cutover planning, and post-migration validation. Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and ensure regular updates to key users and leadership.
Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly status reports, dashboards, and metrics to communicate project health. Develop and maintain Business Process Documents (BPDs), demo tracking sheets, build documentation, and sign-off workflows.
Standardize documentation practices across the project to ensure traceability and compliance.
Engage with functional leads, Team members, Developers, QA, and 3rd party leads to capture project needs and ensure end-to-end smooth delivery. Address concerns or escalations and ensure timely resolutions through appropriate channels.

IT Project Coordinator Qualifications: The following qualifications are required or preferred:
Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and at least 3 years of experience in IT project coordination or Agile team support.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or equivalent (or willingness to obtain)
In-depth understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and IT software development lifecycle.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
Excellent planning, and organization and time management skills.
Strong problem solving and negotiation abilities.
Proficient in project management tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, MS Excel, and various reporting tools.
Previous experience in roles such as a Scrum Master and/or Business Analyst are highly desirable.
Experience with SAP Cloud ALM or with any ALM applications is a plus.
