Job Duties for Traffic Coordinator Logistics Position:

Calculates and records freight rates, charges, and classifications based on rate tables and regulations

Plans production schedules and releases shipping orders accordingly

Coordinates transportation needs and communicates with carriers for loading instructions

Annotates shipping orders with loading locations and arrival times

Computes and documents storage, redelivery, and re-consignment charges as needed

Answers shipper inquiries on rates, routing, packing, and transportation procedures

Prepares and maintains records and documentation of freight movements

Follow all policies and procedures in place

Completes any other related tasks as needed

Qualifications and Desired Skills for Traffic Coordinator Logistics Position:

Associate's degree or related coursework is required

Minimum two years of related experience required
