Junior Engineer

Job Description

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Junior Engineer who is experienced in construction. This is a direct hire opportunity with an integrated Construction, Design and Technology solutions firm located in Albany NY.

Pay: $20 to $30/hour

Responsibilities

Assist with project control activities including project document management, RFI and IB tracking, contract document review

Assist in changes to scope, prepare estimates and negotiate new project scope

Perform walkthroughs with contractor as needed

Assist with monitoring contract implementation, quality of work and materials

Inspect task execution in accordance with the plans and specifications

Maintain weekly and monthly project work plans for scope, budget, schedule, and safety objectives

Attend meetings and prepare minutes

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Construction management or related field

Less than 2 years of experience on smaller projects valued above $1 million

Basic knowledge of RFI tracking, contract documents, scheduling, payments review

Computer proficiency in MS Office and scheduling applicationsCompany Description
