Trusted since 1996, Bay Restoration Corp is a leading General Contractor specializing in restoration which includes masonry, roofing, façade, waterproofing, and garage work in the NYC Metropolitan area. To continue managing this growth effectively, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced estimator to join our team.

We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive field estimator who is experienced in exterior envelope estimation and supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing blueprints, project plans, and documents to understand the project scope and prepare accurate cost estimates. This key role involves strong collaboration with vendors, engineers/architects, and clients ensuring that bids stay competitive while maintaining a healthy project margin.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience performing roofing, waterproofing, Local Law 11 façade, concrete, masonry Restoration Estimates.

· Strong computer skills with knowledge of construction cost estimating.

· College diploma/equivalent required.

· Ability to understand and interpret written specifications, plans, and construction documents.

· Ability to effectively communicate with clients, supervisors, project managers, etc.

Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing project plans, specifications, and related documents.

Collaborate with project managers and other team members to gather necessary information for accurate estimating.

Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data necessary for accurate estimates.

Oversees all pending bids and assures that they are being submitted thoroughly and on time.

Review project documentation, including blueprints, construction plans, contracts, and specifications.

Perform bid takeoffs and prepare formal cost proposals.

Develop and maintain an up-to-date database of unit prices.

Develop change order estimates.

Participate in bid reviews and provide valuable insights for project success.

Complete all essential paperwork in a clear and accurate manner.
