Business Project Coordinator – $27.32/hr
Location: Detroit, MI
Contract Full-Time On-site (This is a long term contract with possible extension or direct hire. Benefits Available)
Our Client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Project Coordinator to support cross-functional project execution across key business units. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in keeping project plans on track, facilitating team communication, and ensuring project documentation is complete and accurate. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong coordination skills, business acumen, and a passion for driving progress.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate business projects by tracking milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met.
Serve as a liaison between internal departments and external stakeholders, supporting clear communication and progress updates.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, meeting notes, and presentation materials.
Monitor project risks and provide support in implementing mitigation strategies.
Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, and cross-functional working sessions.
Support business process improvements and contribute to project-related process documentation.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in project coordination or administrative support within a business setting.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with project management tools is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and time management skills.Company Description
