About Us
We’re a growing commercial general contracting firm specializing in a wide range of commercial and multi-family projects—from small tenant improvements to $200M+ developments. Our team has collectively managed over $1B in construction across Utah and beyond. We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Estimator to help drive our preconstruction efforts and shape the foundation of each project.
What You’ll Do
As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in leading project budgets and managing competitive bids. You’ll collaborate closely with our project managers, superintendents, and executive team while engaging subcontractors and design professionals. Responsibilities include:
Analyzing drawings, specifications, and scope documents to prepare accurate cost estimates
Performing detailed quantity takeoffs across multiple trades
Developing conceptual and schematic budgets as needed
Organizing bid solicitations and distributing project documents to subcontractors
Reviewing scope, schedule, and logistics with subs and suppliers
Evaluating subcontractor bids and qualifications, including risk, pricing, and capabilities
Offering value-engineering ideas to improve cost, schedule, or quality
Supporting project handoff by summarizing scope for internal teams
Coordinating with architects and consultants during preconstruction
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Accounting, or related field preferred
5+ years of experience in estimating or project management (commercial construction in Utah preferred)
Proficient with construction technology platforms and takeoff software
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and juggle multiple estimates
