Job Description

Perform calibration of pressure and/or temperature measuring devices for all manufacturing areas. Operate production calibration equipment. Perform minor equipment adjustments as necessary. Provides support to Calibration Lab and support in other production areas as needed.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB:

Operates from Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Verbal instructions.

Operates production calibration equipment.

Assists in troubleshooting production calibration equipment.

Performs changeovers and adjustments on calibration equipment.

Makes adjustments as necessary to produce product within specified accuracy. Rejects non calibration product.

Performs preventive maintenance (PMs) on calibration equipment.

Performs calibration operations to meet quality and production goals.

Operates production equipment.

Assists in troubleshooting production equipment.

Completes daily production logs.

Performs preventive maintenance (PMs) on production equipment.

Communicates with operators in cell and other shifts.

Cleans and maintains work area. (5S)

Learns and performs additional production operations as needed.

Performs ancillary duties as needed

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent

At least one year manufacturing experience – WIKA Calibrator experience preferred

Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.

Ability to work in noisy environment.

Adaptable to various assignments throughout the day

Ability to work overtime if required. (including weekends)

Ability to learn and perform manufacturing operations and processes quickly

Good communication skills. Ability to adapt to any team environment.
