IT Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team and provide daily support for our Microsoft 365 environment. This is a junior-level position ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of experience supporting small to medium Microsoft 365/Office 365 tenants and delivering help desk support for both Windows and Mac users.

Responsibilities:

Provide responsive support to end-users for Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related applications

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on both Windows and Mac platforms, escalating complex problems as needed

Assist with user account setup, permissions, and license assignments in Microsoft 365 admin center

Support onboarding and offboarding processes for staff, ensuring smooth technology transitions

Create and maintain user documentation and training materials to help end-users maximize Microsoft 365 features

Monitor system performance and report issues to senior IT staff

Collaborate with the IT team to implement best practices and improve support processes

Manage all aspects of the networking platform

Troubleshoot network & system issues

Monitor active network and server infrastructure

Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment

Administer network security measures to prevent system interruptions or breaches

Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures

Document all technical procedures and user guides

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience supporting Microsoft 365/Office 365 tenants in a small or medium business environment

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)

Experience providing help desk support for both Windows and Mac operating systems

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

Basic understanding of user account management and security best practices in Microsoft 365

Experience creating documentation or training materials is a plus

Familiarity with PowerShell or scripting is a bonus, but not required

Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative IT environment
