Machine Operator

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES:

·Visually inspects product for unacceptable clogged holes or insert gap on tools.·Visually inspects product for unacceptable defects after blasting and look for any brazing defects.·Is responsible for correct condition of blasting and Inspection of every tool.·Maintain safe working conditions and cleanliness of work areas at all times.

EDUCATION:

No education is required. Preferred high school diploma or equivalent.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

·Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions such as S.O.P.â s, work instructions, technical documents, and manufacturing prints.·Ability to perform written communication·Knowledge of industrial cutting tools (e.G. Drills, end mills, etc.) preferred, or related industry is desirable.·Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to use basic hand tools.·Previous experience with basic machine operation.·Ability to calculate appropriate machine settings and adjust accordingly.·Ability to operate computer to program machine.·Individual must have strong work ethic, be high-energy, and detail-oriented.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand;sit;use hand to handle, or feel objects, tool or controls;and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch;talk or hear and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required to by this job include close vision and color vision.
