Material Handler â Shipping/Receiving & Paint

Starting Pay: $21.00/hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Material Handler to support our Shipping/Receiving and Paint departments. This is a hands-on position requiring forklift operation, material movement, and use of barcode scanning systems. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklift safely and obtain/maintain forklift certification

Handle incoming and outgoing shipments, parts, racks, and materials

Support material movement for the Paint department

Learn and use barcode scanning systems efficiently

Track parts using part numbers, status tags, and rack organization

Work effectively in various weather conditions

Collaborate with team members and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Follow safety protocols and company procedures

Work overtime as needed to meet production and shipping schedules

Requirements:

Fork truck (forklift) experience

Basic computer knowledge

Self-motivated and dependable team player

Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Strong attention to safety

Ability to learn internal systems (part numbers, tags, racks, scanners)

Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

Availability for overtime when required
