STRS Ohio is seeking an Employer Reporting Analyst to join the Finance/Employer Reporting team.

Compensation:
$27.45 - $30.88/hr.
Work Schedule:
8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday (Onsite)
General Summary:
Under the direction of the supervisor, Member Account Reporting, perform duties associated with annual reporting, member withdrawals, retirement reporting and other functions of employer reporting. Assignments may change depending on the time of year, resource requirements and volume in the respective areas of employer reporting.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with assigned reporting employers.
Perform duties, such as processing deposit and service reports, calculation of final average salary (FAS), review of FAS limitations and adjustments to member accounts.
Process and resolve problems with difficult deposit and service reports.
Review the Alternative Retirement Plan (ARP) election forms, update account as needed, and process refund checks to ARP vendors.
Process refund applications; input and review applicable data and prepare the account for proper disbursement.
Perform reconciliation of annual reporting to payroll reporting. Resolve identified discrepancies to ensure proper account balances in defined contribution and defined benefit accounts.
Reconcile closing community school balances and assist with opening of new community schools.

Summary of Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, math or related field required.
Three to five years’ relevant work experience required; experience in pension or retirement plans preferred. or a combination of experience and college-level coursework.
Ability to understand, accurately explain and apply Ohio law, STRS Ohio Retirement Board rules and administrative guidelines required.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills required; ability to gather and interpret data and find solutions to problems.
