Job Description

Excavator Operator needed in our Sarasota, FL location.

The ideal candidate must be proficient in excavator operation with a focus on safety and attention to detail. Must have a successful track record of safe, experienced excavator operation in independent work settings is preferred. Compensation:

$20 - $23 hourlyResponsibilities:

Operate excavators proficiently as a Heavy Equipment Operator.

Carry out assigned tasks from management while prioritizing safety in all operations.

Perform daily inspections on excavators and other heavy machinery to ensure they are in optimal working condition.

Be adaptable to working in extreme weather conditions and at various sites throughout Sarasota, FL.

All other duties as assigned. Qualifications:

Must be available to work a 10-hour shift from Monday to Friday and be open to possible weekend shifts if needed.

The ideal candidate should possess 2 years or more of hands-on experience operating excavators is preferred.

Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions, and other business interactions.

Hearing: Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals.

Speaking: Able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying sizes with or without amplification.

Equipment Operation: Able to operate a wide range of tools.

Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 20lbs/9kg.

Lifting: able to lift up to 30lbs/14kg.

Squatting/Kneeling: able to squat or kneel.

Standing: able to stand for extended periods of time, delivering information.

Walking: Able to walk through the shop and other outside elements.About Company
