Pricing Analyst/Project Control

S2Technologies has an immediate opening for a Project Control/Pricing Analyst to join as an integral member of the S2 team. The successful candidate will have experience supporting Cost/Price Volumes, experience with project control principles working with Program/Project Managers and Senior Leadership in a high paced, highly visible group/corporate environment and participate in a variety of pricing and estimating activities. This exciting opportunity with S2 is based in Smithfield, NC with the flexibility of hybrid/ limited teleworking arrangement.

This is a fast-paced position requiring excellent communication skills, attention to detail, demonstrated problem solving skills, ability to multi-task and thrive in a deadline-driven environment, and also willingness to work extended hours as needed to finish the job and to see a proposal through to completion.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience

Must have completed accounting courses and have prior experience

4 years of direct experience in lieu of BA

Total 6 years w/o degree

Previous experience supporting pricing in a government contracting environment is a must.

Experience with all contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF/AF/IF),

Familiarity with contract vehicles (GSA, IDIQ, BPA, etc.) a plus

General working knowledge of FAR/DFAR, CAS, DCMA/DCAA, estimating systems, and BOEs

Ability to understand Government/customer requirements, apply contracting and pricing principles, and support development of compelling pricing solutions

Previous experience collaborating in teams

Flexible, independent and reliable, with strong attention to detail and accuracy

Must be highly proficient with finance principles and desktop applications (ie MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Ability to model business cases and perform what if analysis/scenarios

Ability to track KPI's and project/program financials w/Excel based templates/models

Requirements:

US citizenship is required

Ability to work on-site with proposal teams in Smithfield, NC area as needed preferred

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will report to the Company President and work hand in hand with Division Directors and Program Managers as required. This candidate will be responsible for developing current and accurate project financial reports, EACs, project forecasting.

Regular interactions with cross-functional capture teams (Client, Finance, Contracts, Subcontract, HR) and Line/Group Management

Provide financial inputs to Monthly Corporate Program Management Reviews

Support proposal pricing and written cost narratives for proposals; varying in size, value and complexity. Define and lead compliant responses to RFP pricing and cost volume requirements. Prepare cost volume milestone reviews. Review and resolution of pricing and/or cost volume actions, including BOE accuracy and completeness. Complete proposal pricing in compliance with company pricing policy.

Communicate pricing requirements, collect basis of estimate (BOE) data, present proposal status and review pricing iterations. Initiate internal files for peer reviews and pricing management reviews.

Produce dynamic pricing models using different business cases and perform what if analysis/scenarios

Create customer submittal files

Maintain current system of auditable pricing files and proposal artifacts
